No food adventures this week kids.
Sunday I went to the Cherry Blossom Festival. I have slacked off attending cultural events since starting school because I am cheap and lazy. Considering that yesterday was rainy and crappy plus I had classes today was a welcome change. The weather was lovely and I had great company. Harker invited me and I, in turn, invited Nerd Noir.
I don’t think I will have a chance to go next year considering I will be a step closer to graduation and probably returning from my trip to France [I will be blogging about that of course when that happens]. I didn’t want to lose this opportunity.
My most favorite part the Cherry Blossom Festival was the Tamagawa Taiko & Dance. There are two places I hope to see before I leave this Earth. France (which I will visit next year ) and Japan. Besides loving the culture, foods, cities, and people now I can appreciate the sounds. Taiko blew me away! For once I am at a loss for words. Sadly I don’t have the actual music to accompany the images. It has to be seen and heard to appreciate.
