Confession Time. My favorite autumn produce isn’t pumpkin – I prefer apple. So when asked to judge the Fall Manayunk StrEAT Food Festival’s Apple Dish Submissions, I naturally jumped at the opportunity.

Within the tail end of summer and the beginning of autumn, I was excited to see what the Food Truck behemoths of flavor and expertise had to offer.

After all judged and the awards presented, I stopped for a savory taco meal to counteract of the luscious sweets before I left for home.
