Summer Fruit Lovin’: Peachy Keen Jam

What goes well with peach jam? Cinnamon Scones, of course!

It’s peak summer and that means the best-of-the-best summer fruit. So that’s my cue to head to the Chestnut Hill Farmer’s Market and score a bounty of peaches.

After wondering what I should make, I came across a raved recipe that seemed too good to be true. Oh, it’s all very true. I called the title “peachy keen” and I’m not kidding!

I made this incredibly EASY peach jam recipe from the Scattered Thoughts of a Crafty Mom’s blog. You can master it on the first try. Seriously! It’s that easy and only uses three ingredients.

I used 3.25 lbs. peaches and only 2 cups of sugar. Since the peaches are really sweet you don’t need that extra half cup of sugar.

To feed my inner fat kid, I made Cinnamon Scones which paired well with the jam.

It’s still peak summer fruit season. Let me know what else I should make? Blueberry frozen yogurt? Strawberry ice cream cake?
