Triple Chocolate Chip Cookies

A personal twist to a standard chocolate chip recipe.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 flour all purpose
  • 1 tsp salt Kosher
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar light
  • 1/2 cup sugar granulated
  • 2 eggs large
  • 1/2 cup softened butter unsalted
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 1/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/3 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 1/3 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup pecans or walnuts chopped

  1. Preheat oven for 350°F

  2. Mix flour, salt, and baking soda in a separate bowl.

  3. Place softened butter and both sugars in a mixer and blend on medium speed or use a hand mixer. Mix well until smooth.

  4. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix well.

  5. Add flour, baking soda, and salt mixture. Mix well.

  6. With a wooden spoon mix in the three types of chocolate chips and nuts.

  7. Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes. Rotate after 7 minutes.

  8. Cool and enjoy.

Recipe Notes

You don't have to add nuts, but that pretty lame.
