Cinnamon Scones

Skip the cinnamon to flavor the scones however you like.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups AP flour
  • 4 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/3 cup Sugar
  • 6 Tbsp Butter (cut into chunks) unsalted
  • Heavy cream As needed
  • 2 Tbsp Cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 350°F

  2. Mix the flour, baking powder, and sugar until thoroughly mixed. Add heavy cream until mixture comes together. Do NOT overmix! Flaten on a lightly floured surface and cut out with 2" circle cutters. Sprinkle cinnamon on top.

  3. Place on a parchment-lined baking tray.

  4. Bake for 25-35 minutes.

  5. Let cool and enjoy with butter or peach jam.
